As an artist, I’ve always been fascinated by the surrealistic possibilities of ceramic sculpture. My earliest works in the 1980s were a series of sculptures following the adventures of an alien pig named Gidget, who traveled throughout the solar system visiting a number of planets and civilizations. Since then, I’ve continued to explore the infinite possibilities of ceramic sculpture, creating works that are both fun and ridiculous, yet also thought-provoking and complex.
