was the world like before it became civilized? Were we more than we are
now? Was there really an Eden?
Are we the descendents of Cain's children
wandering in alienation from our soul? Not questioning the path handed
to us from previous lost generations. Did you know that only Western civilization
has the myth of being thrown out of Eden? The indigenous peoples throughout
the world don't have this myth. Could it be possible that the Western
point of view leads towards alienation? Is this the cause of all the grief
within us? Is the sadness dwelling in the back of our mind, ours? Or is
the Mother consciousness of Eden crying out for her children from our
subconscious? Could the grief that dominates our depths and is claimed
as an individual shame within all of us, could this grief be the lost
Eden that used to unite us? Could the lost Eden not really be lost? But
found as the suffering that took its place? Are we still united with her
in one part of our mind and lost in another? Are we the cause of Her grief?
A child in denial of the existence of the
parent would cause great sadness. Are we the children of denial? Do you
think that the current view of life, that we are just a bunch of accidental
chemical interactions that have blundered into consciousness, wise? Has
it ever dawned on you that we are alive and intelligent? Because our source,
the universe is alive and intelligent? We are an outgrowth of the evolution
of the universe, and we can only possess what it possesses. We didn't
create ourselves, it created us. And we're in denial that this happened.
Are denial and grief in any way connected? Or are you in denial of this
also?
