Welcome to Half in the Other World

This is an online exhibition of dreams nightmares and prophetic visions. All of these images were "drawn" in Photoshop 7.

Fairy tales and bedtime stories have influenced my illustrations as well as the entire OZ series by L. Frank Baum, very few people remember these books only being acquainted with the Judy Garland movie of the thirties.

Another strong influence is the silent movie Metropolis by the visionary film maker Fritz Lang, truly Star Wars and Blade Runner owe much of their success to the influence of this protogenic Sci Fi master.

Pre-Columbian art plays a factor in many of my images influencing my style and layout.

My memories of halloween in the midwest can still give me a shiver as I recall the black and orange holiday landscape of my youth.
