GALA COMMITTEES
- Auction:
solicit, track, collect, display and sell artwork, gift items, wreaths,
etc.

Cash
Room: receive and account for money during Gala, deposit funds in
bank.

Children's
Trees: purchase trees and provide for decorating supplies purchase,
identify and work with teachers willing to participate, pre-sell
trees to sponsors, arrange decorating party, display trees at event.
- Decorations:
design, purchase needed materials, create, install and remove Gala
decorations.
- Dinner:
design and implement dinner and pre-Gala cocktail reception.

Entertainment:
arrange and coordinate all Gala entertainment - music and emcees.
Arrange needed audio equipment, lighting, stage, dance floor, etc.

Food
& Beverage: assist Eldorado chef in creating a menu, solicit
donations of either money or product from area restaurants.

Giving
Tree: solicit donor for tree, arrange decorating party (Gala kick
off week), take down tree, collect funds raised.

Office:
assist with mailings, answer telephones, fill ticket orders, photocopy,
run credit card orders through the terminal, and other basic office
duties.
- Program
newspaper insert: solicit sponsorships, collect payments and design
insert.
- Tickets:
arrange & supply ticket outlets, collect ticket income, monitor
sales, coordinate ticket sales the night of the Gala.
